What are macronutrients and why do we need them?

In the FASTer Way program, we count macronutrients instead of looking at the calories.

What are macronutrients?

Macronutrients are carbohydrates, fats and proteins, that are BEST sourced in whole foods.

Macronutrients help to stabilize your blood sugar. You know those “high” energy swings followed by a “low” slump. That is caused variations in blood sugar, whole foods can help to mitigate this process.
